This book is the only one in Iceland by an Icelandic author who has let her inner witch out and practiced witchcraft on a daily basis. The book helps you find yourself in the world of healing and magic. She teaches you to use magic in everyday activities as well as find your inner strength and confidence to practice. Here you get an insight into everything you need to get started. You will understand that being a witch is not bad. On the contrary; to be a witch is to be a healer, midwife, herbalist, painter, writer, farmer or whatever.
Right now we need to turn on the light in the world and reflect our bright energy.
Being a witch is not limited to one gender. We are all over and we celebrate diversity..

the Project

The project is well underway and the script is almost complete.
The next steps are that in June the manuscript will be submitted for transfer and this summer work will be done on the layout and design. And the aim is for the book to be published
November 5, 2024 or on the author's 45th birthday!

This book began to be born in 2019 and has grown and prospered since then, and now it's time to let others enjoy it too.
With the collection, I will be able to print the book and get it out into the cosmos.

About the Author

I am an Icelandic witch who has been searching for the source and finding my inner witch. It's a long and strange journey and will most likely never end. Which just makes it even more fun. It takes courage to step up as a witch and I welcome everything that comes my way because it's all part of the journey to find your inner light, peace and harmony.

About my partners

My partners of the project are my wonderful sister in laws Magga and Stína together with there wonderful Munda my mother in law. They are going to help me with photo shoots and exhibitions.
Dagný Maggýjar will be in my corner with various editing, tips and advice.

With this fundraising I will be able to print my book and spread the word of love and light.

Margrét Sigrún is a writer and a primary school and meditation teacher.

Kristín Ragnar is a Grasagudda and more and has published various information for preschool children about growing vegetables as well as being a preschool teacher.

Guðmunda Kristín is an amateur photographer who has held numerous group exhibitions.

Dagný Maggýjar is a publishing agent and helps independent authors get their work into the hands of readers because that in its self is magic

Being a witch is nothing more than loving nature and the natural forces that accompany it. Believing in your own intuition and the energy of life, the power of the earth and believing that everything gives off energy. You will want to learn what our ancestors did and believed. And how they went about it. You need to be respectful to all the updates that the universe offers you. Don't be fooled by this standard image of witches in the world. You don't always have to be dancing around in colorful dresses swaying back and forth in the wind or wearing a straw hat. Hmm, I'm just wearing my black leggings from Primark and a tank top that I bought in tons at Walmart when I went to Florida a few years ago . Witches don't have to go to retreats every weekend or know all the mantras and chants what all the yoga gurus know. We don't have to fit into the standard image of the spiritual world here in Iceland. (that thought stopped me at first because I had a big family and couldn't turn the house around and live like a hippie, even though I really wanted to).

It's always fun and good to have company in your interests, and this is no exception. It would be great for you to find someone who is on the same wavelength as you are and on the same journey. Because there is so much we can learn from each other and so much we can help each other with. Here it is ideal to throw out into the Cosmos that you want all the souls that are supposed to accompany you on this journey to start appearing to you when you need them. There are no restrictions here!
