Hello Family, welcome to this present moment

First of all, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for all of the loving support that we have received in these past three years.

Mama has become a sanctuary for locals - a second living room, the lunch and dinner spot, a community center, a temple, a workspace, a hub for friendships old and new. Mama is a lighthouse of peace, harmony, and unity.

Mama has grown so much and she is ready to move into her new home to expand her embrace for both the community and world travelers.

The enriching arts and events Mama has held space for have strengthened and uplifted individuals and collectives. The upcoming White Lotus will cater to more events and will soon become a valuable cultural center in Iceland.

Without community, where would we be?

Mama sprouted from a seedling idea from a group of friends that wanted a space for multi-cultural diversity, and communities to gather and spend quality time over a good vegan meal. No such thing truly existed in the city of Reykjavik and there was a void ready to be filled. Thus the first Karolina fund was created to make this dream of many into a reality.

We are pleased to say that we have achieved the creation of a 100% healthy vegan restaurant and community center, a lighthouse of positivity for Reykjavik

Big News! We are moving and blossoming the White Lotus Venue

The new home for Mama will just be down the street located on Bankastræti 2.

It will have the familiar cozy and magical touch on the inside. We are keeping the spirit alive in the heart of Reykjavik!

Under one big roof, the north part of the house will host our beloved Mama, and in the southern part, our White Lotus Venue lives.

The White Lotus Venue is a new project, an offering to the community. It will be a multifunctional space for music, arts, yoga, dance, conferences, classes, and more. Celebrating cultural diversity and fostering spiritual and creative growth.

You'll help invest in a high-quality sound system, a new kitchen for Mama, overall construction, furnishing, decorating the space, event tools and props as well as the development of The White Lotus App and a new website... and other necessary needs for her enchantment.

Getting closer to the long-term vision

The world has the technology now to create and achieve anything.

When we first started dreaming of Mama, we also envisioned investing in community land where as a collective, we center around growing food with Iceland's natural energy, there is an abundance of it here. We aim to model a sustainable and regenerative community.

Inspired by Iceland's abundant geothermal energy, we dream of a self-sustained nation. We envision harnessing this energy to power greenhouses, grow organic produce, and support the development of community lands. Our long-term vision is not just about sustainable living but fostering a sense of togetherness where people can live, thrive, and harmonize with nature.
