Why?

Viktoria was diagnosed with breast cancer December 2020 and it's been a year since she finished her treatments (surgery, chemo, radiation therapy). She knows first hand how important charities like Kraftur are for those who have cancer and their loved ones and that's why they want to run for Kraftur.

What?

Tough Mudder is a 15KM trail run with 30 crazy obstacles such as wall climbing, mud sliding, electric shock and ice dunking. This will be a huge task for the team and they are looking forward to the challenge.

The charity is Kraftur - a charity focusing on helping young people who are diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. This is the first time post cancer that Viktoria will run such a long distance.

Who

In our team we have Hafrún Hlín Magnúsdóttir, Jón Geir Sigurbjörnsson, Stuart Maxwell and Viktoría Jensdóttir. They are all fun engineers and have been friends a long time. This will though be their first run together :)
