Further Information

TARAMAR SEEDS is an Icelandic innovation company that has developed a groundbreaking technology for the production of unique skincare products made from pure, organic raw materials sustainably sourced from Icelandic nature. The products combine scientific expertise, natural origins, and a strong commitment to sustainability.

The company is now at a pivotal stage of international expansion and has already established partnerships with distributors in Japan, Asia, and Belgium. This project seeks support to strengthen the marketing of TARAMAR in the European market. The first step in this journey is the introduction of the product line into the Belgian department store chain INNO, marking an important milestone in the brand’s international expansion.

TARAMAR SEEDS presented its products in four stores of the Belgian department store chain INNO last December. The response was very positive, clearly demonstrating strong market interest in products of this kind. The Icelandic origin of the products further enhanced their appeal and strengthened the brand’s image.

The marketing of TARAMAR products will be carried out in collaboration with professionals based in Antwerp, supported by a strong partnership with Dagný Rós, a chef who is well known in Belgium for promoting a healthy lifestyle, sustainability, and high-quality food choices. Her involvement will strengthen the brand’s image and create a credible connection with consumers in the European market.

TARAMAR SEEDS is unlike other traditional skincare and cosmetic brands.
We place our primary focus on absolute purity — not only in our packaging and ingredients, but also in our mindset and company philosophy.

Our customers are at the center of everything we do, and every decision we make is guided by our commitment to provide the best possible solutions.

Our products are crafted from unique, pure bioactive ingredients sourced from the untouched nature of Iceland, ensuring the highest level of quality.

To achieve this, we have developed a new patent pending technology: NoTox®. It allows the bioactive compounds to be protected throughout the entire value chain without using conventional preservatives or other harmful ingredients — This way we can protect the fragile natural compounds from seed to harvest, through storage and transport, and during production and filling — ensuring they remain active for 12–24 months in the finished product.

Scientific Approach and TARAMAR's NoTox® Technology

During the development of TARAMAR skincare, we began within-depth research into conventional formulas widely used in the global cosmetics market. Through this analysis, we identified numerous ingredients we considered undesirable and unsuitable for our customers — substances that may cause irritation, disrupt the skin’s natural balance, or have adverse effects on health and the environment.

By eliminating these ingredients, we faced a major challenge: the risk of losing formula stability and bioactive effectiveness. To overcome this, we dedicated extensive effort to creating new and safe solutions. This is how our NoTox® technology was born — a breakthrough method that ensures 100% pure, safe, and stable formulations without the use of preservatives or toxins, while maintaining stability for at least 12 months.

We went even further and removed nearly all synthetic components. Instead, we use bioactive natural ingredients from Icelandic nature— including extracts from kelp, microalgae, angelica, calendula, violet, birch, meadowsweet, clover, and sitka spruce and more.

This innovation is built on decades of research in food and nutritional sciences at the University of Iceland, the University of Massachusetts, and Hohenheim University in Germany.

In this way, TARAMAR products became a pure harmony of nature and science — where Icelandic botanicals and global research expertise merge into unique skincare solutions that strengthen, soothe, and rejuvenate the skin naturally.

TARAMAR SEEDS has completed the development of 15 unique skincare products, all formulated using our groundbreaking NoTox® technology and the purest bioactive ingredients sourced from Icelandic nature. In the first phase, seven of these formulas will enter the European market in partnership with the Belgian retail chain INNO.

To ensure successful market entry in Belgium and surrounding countries, we are focusing on creating high-quality marketing assets and a strong visual identity that communicates the origin of our products — the pristine Icelandic nature and the bio-rich ecosystems of the North.

Our mission at TARAMAR SEEDS is to unite Icelandic natural purity with scientific precision, offering products that appeal directly to consumers seeking clean, effective, and responsible skincare.

To execute this strategy with excellence, we are applying for support to develop and design impactful marketing materials and campaigns. This will allow us to uphold our commitment to delivering completely pure skincare products that stand out in both performance and purity.

Equity Purchase in the TARAMAR SEEDS Crowdfunding Campaign

A contribution of €667 includes the purchase of 143 B-shares (non-voting) in TARAMAR SEEDS. After the payment has been deposited into the escrow account, the buyer must send their name, national ID number, and home address to info@taramar.is, with the email subject line “Karolina Fund”.

The buyer will then receive a share purchase agreement by email, which can be signed electronically. Once completed, Guðrún, CEO of TARAMAR SEEDS, will countersign the agreement, and a fully signed copy will be sent back to the buyer.

After the purchase amount has been depositied into TARAMAR's bank account, the shareholder certificate will be issued once the buyer has been registered in the company’s shareholder registry, hosted at www.hluthafaskra.is.

The buyer will then be registered as a Platinum Member in the TARAMAR SEEDS Loyalty Club and will automatically receive a 40–44% discount on company products purchased through the online store at taramar.is.

The risk involved in participating in equity crowdfunding

How risky are investments in startup companies?
Very risky! You should only invest an amount you can afford to lose. Do not invest so much that it affects your lifestyle or retirement plans. This type of investment carries significantly more risk than investing in a publicly listed company. It is entirely possible that you could lose the full amount you invest.

Legal Notice & Disclaimer

Your pledge to participate in share acquisition is conditional upon the execution of a final share purchase agreement between the supporter and the company, and this agreement is independent of Karolina Fund. Securities offering laws and regulations relating to public offerings do not apply to these pledges, as the total amount in all cases remains below EUR 1,000,000, and the company has set a limit whereby no individual investor can hold more than 10% of the company’s total share capital.

Investing in shares always involves financial risk, including the risk of low or no return, or the potential loss of the full principal amount invested. Supporters/investors are strongly advised to carefully review information about the company and its financial position, as investments in startup companies are generally considered high-risk.
