  • 10. - 20. nóvember: Framleiðendur verkefnisins ráðnir og handritið klárað.
  • 20. - 30. nóvember: Starfsmenn tökuliðsins ráðnir. Hefja leit að leikurum.
  • 1. - 30. desember: Ítarleg skipulagsvinna unnin. Flug bókuð, búið til tökuplan, staðfesta tökustaði, gera fjárhagsáætlun, ferðaáætlun, bóka gistingu, leigja búnað og gera skotlista. Einnig þarf að æfa
  • 30. - 14. janúar: Tökur myndarinnar fara fram á Borgarfirði eystra. 
  • 15. janúar - 15. mars: Eftirvinnsluferli myndarinnar, klipping, litaleiðrétting og hljóðvinnsla. Að því loknu er myndin tilbúin til umsóknar. 
  • 30. mars - 15. apríl: Sótt verður um fyrir myndina á kvikmyndahátíðir og þar á eftir reynt að selja hana sjónvarpsstöðvum.

Guts is a 15 minute short film that will be filmed in Borgarfjörður eystri in January 2022.

LOGLINE:
The mundane life of a fish factory manager is turned upside down when a video of him singing opera goes viral. Now, his daily life has been replaced by the return of his childhood insecurities.

There is currently a shift in our society. Conversations about emotions and mental health are more prominent and topics such as anxiety and toxic masculinity are being addressed. With my film I’d like to address the human elements that are a part of every individual but aren’t always outwardly expressed, especially in smaller communities. I want to explore what makes a person who they are and how they may appear to others, maybe not being their true selves.
