Nocturne

My exhibition Nocturne will open at Skotið in Reykjavík Museum of Photography this winter (November). This will be my first solo exhibition since I graduated from the School of Photography (Ljósmyndaskólinn) last January.
To say that I'm excited is an understatement because I want do this project the best I can, and show how Reykjavík at night transforms into a dark fairy-tale.

New path

Actually I'm doing something new with a project like this. Although nocturnal photography is a thing both here and abroad, Icelandic night photos revolve around the northern lights and beautiful nature.

Urban landscapes at night haven't really been documented like this in Iceland. I'm treading a new path here. This project has evolved and grown over two years, from my idea to what makes Nocturne so intriguing.

Printing and framing, props and advertising all need funding and this crowdfunding will help me so much covering that cost.

Nocturne will open near the end of November and continue until February.
