Berglind has carried with her the dream of being a writer since she was a young girl and she has always been writing regularly. Her poetry book, Berorðað, has been in the making for many years and now it's finally time that her poems will come to life outside of the drawer. For the past year Berglind has been working hard to finish the script in addition of composing and performing her poetry music (while working her day job as a software developer). As an editor, Berglind got the poet Heiðrún Ólafsdóttir and is the final version almost 50 pages. The poems touch upon many aspects of life such as love, lack of love, spiritual growth and difficulties in modern society like the power of the Internet, having to much stuff and what's wrong in Icelandic society.

By composing music to the poems they have gained a deeper meaning and have Berglind's poetry concert been well received. She has been working and performing with the electronic and harmonica musician Fiffi. After the release of Berorðað, Berglind is gonna focus on composing more songs and record her music in better quality. Her music is accessible for everyone on Soundcloud, both for streaming and downloading.

Berorðað will be released under the CC-BY licence which means that everyone is allowed to do whatever they want with the poems as long as the author is mentioned.
