I love to paint Icelandic nature using a brush held in my mouth — on handmade paper I brought back from Nepal.
The artwork featured on these mugs was painted especially for the international exhibition “Magma Rising” at The Heong Gallery, Cambridge — where artists from around the world presented works inspired by volcanoes and flowing lava.

Now I want to bring my art closer to people through mugs that remind us of the beauty found in fire and transformation. The mugs will be locally produced in Iceland, available in three colors, in partnership with a trusted manufacturer.

Why Support This Project: To launch the first production, I need help covering the initial manufacturing costs — layout, printing, and packaging.
By pre-ordering a mug, you are not only helping bring this project to life, but also supporting an Icelandic artist who paints with his mouth and turns challenges into inspiration.
Where the Proceeds Go? Profits from the sales will support my ongoing initiatives connected to:
Welfare and health,
Education and creativity,
Sustainable food production and social innovation.
Your contribution helps more than one project — it supports a vision of resilience, compassion, and meaningful creation.

What You Get? You’re not just buying a mug — you’re receiving a piece of art with a story. Each mug carries warmth, strength, and fire — a reminder that nothing is impossible.
1 mug – 4,500 ISK
3 mugs – 12,000 ISK
The mugs come in three colors, and you can choose your favorite when they’re ready for pickup or delivery.
Join the Journey: Drink from fire — and help art come alive! Support an Icelandic mouth-painter who loves volcanoes and believes in the power of human resilience and unity.

About me:
My name is Brandur “Brassi” Bryndísarson Karlsson and I am an Icelandic mouth-painter, entrepreneur, and founder of the innovation center Frumbjörg, recognized by the Global Startup Awards for its pioneering work in welfare technology.
After becoming paralyzed in my early twenties, I began painting with my mouth, inspired by Icelandic actress and mouth-painter Edda Bachmann. I am a student member of the MFPA – Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association, and I have exhibited my works in Iceland and abroad.
My art combines nature, resilience, and hope — building bridges between creativity, compassion, and innovation.
