This year I had the privilege of making a new friend.
His name is Glenn Sandoval. Glenn is a 33 year old artist who lives in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California.
We met on Instagram and started talking about his art and from that point on it grew into a odd, yet intimate, regular correspondence.

Every aspect of his story is by far the most fascinating human tale I've ever heard. We talked about his past, his future aspirations and dreams of escaping his surroundings.
After befriending Glenn, I knew I had stumbled onto something special
and I had the instant feeling his story needed to be told.

Ever since I was a kid I've always wanted to make my own film project but never found the right one, until now. I'm very pleased to announce that production will start this September.

The documentary A Very Extraordinary Story of an Average Man will follow Glenn's life, where he will showcase his art under many forms. Combining surreal self portraits, fashion illustrations and textiles.

It's a compelling and humorous portrait of a young Mexican-American
artist rhythmed by his own surrealist artwork.
A mesmerizing stream of consciousness that touches on the themes
of religion, sexuality, art, trauma, human and artistic connection.

The funding is for the production cost of the film that I will be doing myself.
Equipments such as sound, camera including post- production, editing and animation.

My experience in the film industry includes production.
Mostly on small independent projects but also feature length movies
