Hello friends.

My name is Stefán Elí and I´m a 17 year old musician from Akureyri, Iceland. I am about to release an album!! Hooray!! I am very much excited to release it and share it with as many people as possible.

Here I can be seen using the key to my school locker trying to open a lock on a shed. It did not go according to plan.

Here is an interview I did at the N4 TV station when I released my single “Lost Myself” - I also performed a stripped down version of the song. The music starts at 6:50, if you don´t feel like listening to me speaking Icelandic.

I want the release of this album to be something more than just throwing it out there on the Internet to see what happens and that's why I need YOUR help. It would be so awesome to be able to hold the record and really see and feel the product that has taken so much work to complete. That's why I would love to make CDs and vinyl records. This great album will consist of 13-14 song (I've not entirely made up my mind at this point) which I wrote and produced. I feel like the songs are very diverse so it's hard to point to one genre that the album falls into but I´d say the overall theme is hip-hop. All of the lyrics are in English.

We thought it would look so cool to be entering this shed but the door was locked so this didn't work out either.

It would be so amazing, and it would mean so much if we were able to fund this album here because if not, all of this might not happen. The money made from this campaign will be used to make CDs and vinyl records, print t-shirts, host a concert and more.

I gave up trying to get into the shed so I just sat down it this comfortable couch instead.

Haukur Pálmason

Haukur is in charge of mixing and mastering the songs on the album. Haukur has a degree in Recording Engineering from an expensive university in Florida (Full Sail University). Haukur has recorded, mixed and mastered a wide variety of musical genres. He has worked with the heavy metal bands Skurk, and Röskun, the happy-go-lucky pop band Hvanndalsbræður, Páll Rósinkranz, Dúkkulísurnar, Magni (of Rock Star: Supernova fame) and many more.
In recent years Haukur has participated in the recording of The North Iceland Symphony Orchestra movie scores in Hof, the Akureyri Cultural Center. Movies that he has been involved in include Rams, Ploey - You never fly alone, Bilal, the Perfect Guy, and more.
Haukur mixed and mastered my EP "Wake Up", which is available on all major on-line music outlets.
