Yara Polana

Yara is a passionate Developer and Designer that loves diving into new projects to improve the lives of those around her. With over 13 years of extensive experience, Yara's passion lies with FinTech, Software Development, Entertainment, Cosmetics, UI/UX, Mobile Solutions and Music.

As a musician, Yara started playing piano at age 7, guitar at 15, production at 19 and drums at 28. She believes music is the real language of the world and aims to get more women involved in creating and experimenting with sounds. She has played with several musicians including Linda Hartmans, Sóffia Osk, Sunna Fridjóns and in bands such as Mikaya, MONATrio, Lefty Hooks and The Right Thingz, Axe Order, Eldrún and Issamwera, and participated in various projects, including reggae, hip-hop, metal, and jazz.
