Halldóra Sigurðardóttir

My name is Dora (Halldóra Sigurðardóttir) and I am a translator and an writer in my free time. By joining Karolina Fund I am hoping to make my dream come true and publish my first book. I have always had a keen interest in sociology and what drives people to succeed in life. When I went to university a new world opened up for me when I read the theories of Max Weber, Emile Durkeim and colleagues. I saw that you can well change your behaviour pattern even though you come from a difficult background with broken communication. With time my urge to find answers grew and I decided to put what I have found along with my personal life experiences in this book I am currently writing.
