Fjóla Eðvarðsdóttir

When I visited the Selárdals museum it fascinated me both the location and the spirit of Selárdalur. I decided there and then that I would find a way to support and highlight this wonderful museum. As a ceramicer my contribution has been to make small replicas of Samúels statutes. I am on the board af Selárdalur museum and have been for the last 5 years.

I am a trained art therapist and a ceramic designer. My work through the years has mostly been with people with learning disabilities and elderly people with altzheimers and dementia illnesses. I have always been specially fond of naive art and have in my work through the years been lucky enough to have encountered wonderful artist in that field .Samúel holds a special place in my heart both as a artist and a very unique person.
