Chris Foster

Musician (singer, guitarist, langspil player), visual artist and community arts worker. He has toured and recorded widely in Europe and North America. Living in Iceland since 2004, he is deeply involved with Icelandic traditional music, performing with Bára Grímsdóttir in the duo Funi. Co-founder of Vaka Folk Arts Festival in 2015. Co-founder of Vökufélagið - Association of traditional folk artists in 2024.
