Þorgeir Frímann Óðinsson

Future minded musician living with machines.

Þorgeir has been making electronic music for 20 years, mostly know under his alias Frank Murder although he has worked under a few other names and been part of many different projects.

In the last year Þorgeir has been focusing fine tuning his ever evolving machine towards live performances that can be as surprising to himself as they will be to the audience. His live performance from the last sonar festival can be seen here:

Today Þorgeir works with modular synthesis and focuses on algorithmically generated music based on, among other things, jazz theory. His music lives somewhere in the realm of techno, electro or IDM but always surprices and pushes boundaries.

As Frank Murder he has in co-operation with his machine created an album that will be released on the Icelandic Möller Records label. He is now working on getting funds to release the album on vinyl.
