My CV

Gudmundur Thor developed and designed Green Energy Group´s geothermal wellhead technology and was one of the founders and the inventor/designer of the KAPS patented technology. This technology is presently used in GreenEnergy Group´s 65 MW Kengen project in Olkaria, Kenya with a value over 100 MIL.USD.

The technology and concept have been awarded 2013 Glopal Cleantech 100 and by Bloomberg New Energy Finance as 2014 New Energy Pioneer.

He has extensive experience working in the industrial sector in Iceland, India and Norway.

He earlier established Sæplast hf in Iceland (now Promens), a company producing insulated fish tubs, which were designed by him. The company later set up factories in over 20 countries and sales to over 70 countries. G Thor speaks English, Icelandic and Norwegian.

He was CTO of Green Energy Group AS and later head of Business development plus being a board member.
