Daníel Thor Bjarnason

Daniel trained at Rose Bruford College (European Theatre Arts BA Hons) in London and at VSMU Bratislava (The Academy of Performance Arts in Bratislava) in Slovakia.

Daniel's main passion in theatre lies in a physical exploration through Clowning and Buffoon, drawing up his own visual images to the stage. Hins training is heavily based in devising theatre.

Daniel's collaborators include theatre maker Flick Ferdinando, Teresa and Andrzej Welminski of the Polish avant garde theatre group Cricoteka. Daniel has also worked with Bread in the Bone, an international theatre company, for their productions of "She is Macbeth" and "Riders to the Sea" in 2014.

Daniel collaborated with Spindrift Theatre on their show Carroll: Berserk which was premiered in Tjarnarbio in Reykjavik - Iceland in April 2015 and is currently working on the show Yule Lads that will be on in Bæjarbíó in Hafnarfjörður in December
