Eiríkur Bergmann

Eiríkur er doktor í stjórnmálafræði, dósent og forstöðumaður Evrópufræðaseturs Háskólans á Bifröst. Höfundur fjölda bóka og greina um þjóðfélagsmál, einkum um tengsl Íslands við umheiminn. Hefur um árabil ritað reglulega dálka í dagblöð, til að mynda í Helgarpóstinn, Blaðið/24stundir, Fréttablaðið, Pressuna, DV og breska dagblaðið The Guardian. Eiríkur hefur kennt og tekið þátt í margvíslegu rannsóknastarfi við fjölda háskóla, bæði á Íslandi og víða um Evrópu.

Eirikur has a doctoral degree in political science, he is a professor of Politics and director of Centre for European Studies at Bifrost University in Iceland.He has written many books and articles about social issues, particularly about how Iceland connects to the external world. For years he has written columns in various Icelandic newspapers as well as the British newspaper The Guardian. He has taught and participated in various research work within a number of universities, both in Iceland and throughout Europe .
