Hello Tribe! Welcome to this present moment

OKAY, here we go!!

We are opening up a delicious plant-based restaurant/wellness space in the center of Reykjavík.
Here we will focus on creating a healthy and vibrant environment for YOU to rejuvenate mind body and soul. Something we all need. And the best thing is.. you can help us to make this into a reality -
and therefore your own reality!

The space is located at Laugarvegur 2. Built-in 1883, this historical house is well known by the people of Reykjavik. It's on the corner of two of the busiest walkways in downtown RVK. Our dream is to bring life into it again and saturate the center with good vibrations.

The 1st floor will be the restaurant, which can hold up to 50people. Our menu will be 100% PlantBased, focusing on pure health. Sourcing our food as locally and seasonally as we can! Showing people that eating healthy can be fun, creative and delicious!

Alongside the food menu, we will have an exquisite Te/Tonic-Bar - made by our strong team of well-educated plant medicine enthusiast. Healthy shoots for vitality. Smoothies and fresh Juices. Good coffee. Kambucha and last but not least Cacao - A love potion that is being exposed more and more to the whole wide world. Cacao is what has brought us together and we want to pay it forward so you too can experience this beautiful heart medicine. We promise you, you are in for a treat here.

The second floor will be our Lounge area! Where we will create a magical atmosphere for you to come and relax in a more meditative setting. There you can Enjoy the medicines we offer in our restaurant. There we will utilize the space for valuable information, bringing awareness and support for a conscious way of living. Music, ceremonies, meditations, workshops, lectures just to name few. If you have something to share, we want to hear from you!

WHO ARE WE?
We are a group off people that want to give back by creating a space where we can share our gifts and receive gifts from others. All of us have been exploring life in different ways, finding out what works for us to maintain a state of well being. Yogis, cooks, meditators, musicians, travelers, nature lovers, mothers, fathers, explorers of life. We want to give back and continue our growth through this project. We feel like this place will give Reykjavík the vibrations it deserves. Based on Wholeness - Aliveness - Health - Community - Compassion and Passion.

LONG TERM VISION
We believe that living in harmony with the environment is an important thing to do if we want to live a holistic lifestyle. What we do at Mama will be, to the best of our ability, focused on that. -Recycling all materials-No food waist-No plastic-Local and seasonal dishes-Reusable items for the space-Supporting local businesses when the restaurant is well established, we will put a portion of the income into a community fund. Using this fund to invest in land and start growing our own food. Becoming self-sustainable. A big part of the crops will then be used for the restaurant to optimize freshness. Using what we have - going even more local and seasonal!! Farm to table.

WHAT WILL THE MONEY BE USED FOR

The money we will gather from this campaign will go into basic costs. We will have to get the main equipment for the kitchen. An oven - blender - pots - all the other important kitchen gear. Another part of the fundraising will go into doing the proper work for space itself. Doing some carpentry work, paint, and get plants so we can oxygenate the space! Rent and Inventory will be the lucky leftover department. All help is well received!! If you have a special skill or experience in a project like this we are all ears. We want this to be a place where everybody feels like they are part of the project. Bringing goodness into all of our lives.
