"Is Anybody Listening?" er önnur sólóplata Rögnu Kjartansdóttir, sem er eflaust betur þekkt af flestum sem rapparinn Cell7. Þetta er önnur plata Rögnu en árið 2013 sendi hún frá sér plötuna Cellf sem fékk prýðismóttökur hjá hlustendum og gagnrýnendum.

Á nýju plötunni má finna 9 lög. Þrjú lög hafa nú þegar komið út sem smáskífur og eru það lögin City Lights, Peachy og Built to last.

Flest lög plötunnar, eru unnin með pródúsernum Helga Pétri Lárussyni, betur þekktur sem Fonetik Symbol. Ragna sjálf pródúserar sjálf tvö lög en svo eiga pródúseranir Gnúsi Yones og Addi Introbeats eitt lag hver á plötunni.

Einvala lið tónlistarmanna kom að gerð plötunnar. Ber þar að nefna Andra Ólafsson, Steingrím Teague, Björgvin Ragnar Hjálmarsson, Rögnvald Borgþórsson, Karl Olgeirsson, Arnljót Sigurðsson, Kristrúnu Lárusdóttur, Eyþór Eyþórsson og síðast en ekki síst Elísabetu Eyþórsdóttur. Friðfinnur Sigurðsson hljóðblandaði svo 8 af 9 lögum plötunnar.

Its been a dream of mine for a long time to release my album on vinyl. I love vinyl but it's costly and one would never go into the process for profit. I would love for this to be a collector's item so I'm releasing it in only 50-100 copies depending on funding. That's why Im seeking your help in order to create something beautiful and well presented as well as good sounding so that in this digital world one might have a tangible part of Cell7's music to enjoy for years to come.

Ragna Kjartansdóttir also known as Cell7, is a Filipino-Icelandic rapper, songwriter and sound engineer. She released her first solo album Cellf in 2013. The album received outstanding reviews and was mentioned on most national lists for the best Icelandic albums of the year 2013. Moreover, the album received the Kraumur Music Award, chosen by a diverse panel of experienced Icelandic music and radio journalists.

Her first music video and single City Lights of her forthcoming album released in 2017 was nominated as one of the best rap songs that same year at the Icelandic Music Awards.

Her second single Peachy, which was released on Feb 8th, sets a new tone, a much brighter, soulful, updated approach to the hip hop genre since it has evolved significantly throughout the years.

Her second solo album “Is anybody listening”released at the end of March 2019 is a extensive one that takes you in various directions, from confessions of defeat to being in control. Whatever the topic maybe this album suggests she’s built to last
