The electric duo Sveimur is making it's first album. It will be a vinyl release limited to 250 copies and a digital release.

Name of the album is Reset and here is the song list;

All of the songs are in english except the final song that is in icelandic. The songs and lyrics were created in a time of self reflection resulting in a new perspective of the world. The lyrics are a bit cryptic and we want the listeners to make their own mind regarding their meaning.

Gulli (Skuggasveinn) has been composing music since his early teens. His favorite music was electronica tho when composing his instrument was always a piano.
3 years ago Gulli decided to go all in into the world of electric music buying his first hardware synthesizer. There was no going back and the soundscape of Sveimur is inspired by rhythmic piano melodies expressed with the unlimited possibilities of electronica.

Ylfa Marín started to perform as a singer and an actress when she was about 10 years old. Since she was 14 years old she's been in many different bands , and also learned classical singing. Later on or when she was about 18 she got into Complete Vocal Technique.
After graduating from high school she got more into music and composing. She founded a band called Blær and started to perform a lot giving her lots of experience performing and working with musicians. Now Ylfa Marín is studying acting, singer of Sveimur and an independent singer.

On the horizon

During the crowdfunding with Karolinafund we will release the title song of the album (Reset), and premiere the music video to Touch. These will be announced on our facebook page along with daily updates :)
