Heitur kólnar svitinn
dyrnar lokast
á kösturum kvikna ljós.
Í leikstjórn tímans
lokaþáttur
skip mitt hverfur í show.
"Penninn drýpur blóði!"
borðið öskrar
sem áður þakkti jól.
Frá borði verð að stökkva
minn eini leikur
skip mitt hverfur í sjó.

Nóttin, óttinn, kuldinn,
auðnin, þögnin
dauðinn nálgast fljótt.
Vegurinn að heiman
krumpast saman
í fjörunni sit á stól

Kylmää hien kuumuus
sulkeutuu ovet
heittimet saa hehkun.
Ohjauksessa ajan
loppunäytös
laivani katoaa –show’hun.

”Näen kynäveren tihkun!”
pöytä ärjyy
jok’ ennen tarjos joulun.
Pois pöydältä hyppää
mun ainoo teos
meri vie laivani mun.

Öinen pelko, kylmyys,
autius, tyhjyys
kuolemaan jo joudun.
Rypyssä kuin ois
tie kotoa pois
vedenrajaan istun
