Further Information

Why us?

This film is not just another short film. It is a personal story about the emotional journey of lost and found the person who you think you are close with.

And our rewards are not just the normal rewards you can get anywhere.

By supporting our film, you will be able to read into the dreams from the film or even into your own dreams. The girl in the film always draws her dream out. All these drawings are all hand-drawn piece by piece by Hong Kong Artist - Clok Serene Hui (https://www.szelokserene.com/ They captured an essence of Icelandic landscape with a touch of surrealism with what happened in the girl’s dreams.

You will also be able to get extraordinary unique reward like the vagina purse, designed and made by Icelandic designer Ýr Jóhannsdóttir (http://www.yrurari.com/. Her knit work and design are used in the film for the girl’s costumes. It definitely enhanced the character of the girl and bring the audience closer to her dream world. Now you can also have work done by Ýr by supporting our film.

Where will your money go to?

All the money we received from you will go to the production budget for the film. This film is a graduation film for the London Film School. We have already finished the principal photography back at September 2017 on location in South of Iceland. The edit has been done and the film is waiting in the editing suite to be taken into the next level.

Now, we will need the fund for the post-production for the film. The cost of post-production can be categorized into 3 main parts:

Sound effects and mixing

This film involves a lot of dream sequences. Approaching the end of the film, the dream and real world start to mix together. It is important to recreate the surreal soundscape to fit in the stunning landscape and performance captured in the film.

Colour grading

The look of the raw footage can only be visualized correctly with grading. Grading is very important in post-production as it determines the final look of the film. This film happens in a surreal world and thus the grading will play a big role in creating that particular look.

Music

Lastly, good film music can definitely help the story-telling of the film. The film will be covered by quite an amount of music. We are hoping to spend our budget on recording musician playing their instruments instead of using synthesized tones and notes, and this means we will need to book in musicians and studios for recording.
