After the great response I got for my previous albums, Telling tales (2008) and Leidin heim (2014), I simply can’t wait to get this new material out.
II ÚLFAR (II Wolves) is a journey through the dark thoughts of number of people that mustdeal with life and the battles that we fight within ourselves every single day.
It’s a powerful piece and I believe I’ve finally found the sound I’ve been developing over the last two albums.
The lyrics are Icelandic and the music a mixture of rock,blues, soul and gospel.
Although it’s a concept album, every track has its own live and doesn’t have to depend on the whole album.
Like with my previous work I’m surrounded by talented friends that help me out by playing instruments and producing the songs with me. As the work progresses, I introduce them and show you what’s going on behind the scenes at www.facebook.com/2ulfar
The recordings, mix and mastering will go on from April through August and the set release date is the 30th of August 2019.
Vitinn is a by-product from the writing- and recording process of II ÚLFAR.
I went to the magnificent lighthouse in Akranes, Iceland and recorded acoustic versions of a few new songs and few of my older ones.
The sound in this lighthouse is beyond amazing and the result of this session was so magical that I decided to release it as a bonus material for a limited deluxe version of II ÚLFAR.
On the day of the release, 30th of August 2019, there will be a concert in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Accompanied by a band I will perform the entire album from start to finish and some older material and songs from the lighthouse sessions will also be on the program.

I’ve set the release date as 30th of August 2019, depending on if this crowdfunding reaches our final goals. If we don’t raise the money, we need to finish the project, your money will be returned when the funding period is over.
